State-of-the-art drone technology and processing.
Using the latest MicaSense Red + Blue, the Inagro drone team can measure 10 spectra bands from our drone at the same time as RGB photo acquisition. Right after flying, images are automatically processed and shared with the client.
Multispectral images can measure both visible light (RGB) and near-infrared. This information enables us to monitor both growth, quality and health of the crop. Also, we can follow up crop height, build time series and compare treatments and crop varieties. In conclusion, we can monitor microparcels in high detail across fields and over time.
New this year is a semi-automated chain to deliver images and statistics to our researchers. We train our researchers to use the drone data and are investigating which trial field traits we can monitor using drones.
Our drone pilots are trained to collect optimal images for agricultural fields. The flight protocol is standardised between pilots. To geo-register the drone images we have fixed ground control points at our trial site.
If you are interested in the spatial distribution of EC, pH and organic carbon content, Inagro can facilitate a VERIS soil scan and soil sampling for you. Read more (in Dutch).
