The research centre is the West Flanders R&D department for agriculture.

That is why an investment in Inagro is also an investment in the agricultural sector. Inagro is a privatised agency of the Province of West Flanders. It receives financial support from the Province of West Flanders and the Flemish government.

The European Union is also an important backer of various projects. Inagro receives income from research for companies, services, contributions from the sector and the sale of harvests at auction and to industrial clients.
